How to create sftp only user on linux.

Find where is sftp-server [find / -name sftp-server]

Take note of the location, mine is at /usr/libexec/openssh/sftp-server

Register the file as one of a valid shell [cat /usr/libexec/openssh/sftp-server >> /etc/shell]

Start to add user with the shell
useradd -s /usr/libexec/openssh/sftp-server -d /home/blah blah

Can edit the .bash file to display some error if user tries to login to other shell, but i do not bother to do so. Valid user should know what they are allowed to do and what are provided to them. Non-valid user, leave them hanging….
